The good news? Byron is coming alive all weekend long, and with three Byron Markets running Friday through Sunday, expect amazing music, local makers and plenty to explore.
“Even if plans have changed, visitors can still enjoy a full weekend of live music in Byron,” said Carl Taylor, Markets Manager. “Our markets are offering free performances across the entire Easter long weekend, giving locals and visitors the chance to soak up incredible local talent in a relaxed, welcoming setting.”
Kicking things off on Easter Friday, the artisan-only Byron Beachside Market sets the tone for the weekend, with waves rolling in as you browse handmade ‘make it, bake it, sew it, grow it’ stalls, enjoy delicious food and take in live tunes from Tony Mango, Hayley Grace and Guy Kachel.
As Easter Saturday night rolls in, the Byron Twilight Market transforms Railway Park from 4pm to 9pm, with live music to get your feet tapping and your head moving. Hayley Grace will keep you entertained throughout the evening.
Round out the weekend on Easter Sunday at the Byron Community Market, where the fun continues with more free live music. If you’re feeling the blues, get on your dancing shoes with Cos Micos, The Happy Africa Band and Mark Chapman, lifting your spirits as you boogie on down in Byron.
