New Healthy Ageing Retreat at Gwinganna

Gwinganna Lifestyle Retreat continues to lead the way in Australian wellness retreats with two new programs including a retreat dedicated to longevity and healthy ageing. Featuring wellness sessions and practical activities plus a take home plan, this unique new offering is available from 12 to 16 March 2023.

Since its opening 16 years ago, the award winning and Ecotourism certified Gwinganna has become renowned for delivering transformational experiences and leading-edge wellness research. We are all ageing every day and this retreat will help guests understand more about our chronological age compared to biological age. Guests can then build their own longevity plan, regardless of their age today.

Gwinganna’s General Manager, Deb Munster says, “We’re thrilled to once again bring guests new retreat options. The research and science our presenters will share brings us essential information we can apply every day.“

The Longevity Project features the expertise of long term Gwinganna specialty presenter Dr Karen Coates, co-author of the book, How to Be Well. Dr Coates says: “We will share some of the science and explore an exciting area as we continue to learn more and more about the role of lifestyle choices in helping us manage ageing healthily. Adding genetic science research will help guests further understand how to develop their own plan to age well and be well.”

A further new option is the Gwinganna Healthy Escape, also over four nights in June. This retreat is ideal for those wanting quality rest time, away from distractions in a healthy environment yet still be able to have coffee in the morning or a glass of wine at dinner some nights.

From January 2023, all stays of four nights or less will include morning coffee or tea to help guests who prefer not to step away from caffeine for this short period. Fully inclusive packages for the four night retreats start from $2515 per person twin share. They include specialty seminars, all scheduled practical sessions and activities, delicious organic meals and snacks, selected spa treatments, plus plenty of time to relax in the spacious surrounds of Gwinganna.
