A fang-tastic Howloween Adoption Day in Lismore

Meet affectionate greyhounds searching for loving homes and join the Halloween fun with a Best Dressed Dog competition at Petbarn Lismore.

Greyhounds As Pets NSW is bringing cuddles, costumes and happy tails to Lismore with a special Howloween Adoption Day on Saturday 31 October.

Visitors can meet greyhounds looking for loving homes, discover their individual personalities and speak with the Greyhounds As Pets team about adoption and life with these gentle, affectionate companions.

Those who already have a dog are welcome to bring them along for a meet-and-greet with a potential new greyhound sibling.

The day will also feature a Best Dressed Dog competition, with local dog lovers invited to dress their pets in their spookiest, cutest or quirkiest costumes.

Special adoption fees will be available on the day, with greyhounds priced at $150, usually $250, and senior greyhounds aged seven and over available for $75, usually $150.

Prospective adopters are encouraged to apply early so they are ready to meet their perfect match and may even be able to take their new companion home on the day.

Visitors can register for the Dogalogue to receive a list of the greyhounds attending.
