Festival of the Stone Raises Record $30,419 for Fletcher Street Cottage
Stone & Wood is thrilled to announce that the 2026 edition of Festival of the Stone has raised a record amount of $30,419 for Fletcher Street Cottage, Byron’s vital community hub providing services and support for people experiencing personal hardship.
Held on Saturday 20 June at Stone & Wood’s Byron Bay brewery, the annual festival welcomed a sold-out crowd of 2,000 people for sets by Pacific Avenue, Ruby Fields, Dear Seattle, Eliza & The Delusionals and local act Drover.
Alongside the bands on the outdoor stage, patrons danced to DJ’s on the Brew Deck, tucked into delicious food and enjoyed the 2026 edition of the festival’s namesake Stone Brew Beer. Good times all round!
The funds raised will go directly towards supporting Fletcher Street Cottage to deliver vital services and programs for locals experiencing homelessness and hardship. This includes meals, showers, crisis relief, housing support and a dedicated Women's Space.
Damian Farrell, Manager, Fletcher Street Cottage said:
“We’re incredibly grateful to Stone & Wood and everyone who came along to party with a purpose at Festival of the Stone this year. To see our community come together in this way means so much. These funds will make a real difference for Byron locals doing it tough, helping us provide practical support, connection and care at Fletcher Street Cottage when it’s needed most.”
Paul Tansley of Stone & Wood voiced the brewery’s ongoing commitment to local community:
“Festival Of The Stone is all about community and we’re so thrilled that Byron has once again rallied together to raise these much-needed funds for Fletcher Street Cottage while also having a great time. Good music, good beer and a good cause.”
Since its inception, Festival of the Stone has raised over $130,000 for local charities and is a highlight on Byron’s music calendar.
Stone & Wood would like to thank everyone who has supported the event this year!
