A Winter High Tea in the Rainforest at Nightcap Ridge
Escape into the ancient Gondwana rainforest this July for a special high tea collaboration between HOME Alstonville and Nightcap Ridge.
Taking place across 25 and 26 July, A Winter High Tea in the Rainforest is a limited-ticket dining experience set within The Palm Room, a Queenslander-style pavilion surrounded by subtropical rainforest, lily ponds and sweeping forest views.
The bespoke menu by HOME Alstonville celebrates native and local ingredients, with savoury offerings including Ballina prawn brioche with macadamia aioli and crispy saltbush, kangaroo shepherd’s pie with bush tomato sauce, and savoury tart with warrigal greens and pepperberry. Sweet highlights include lemon myrtle madeleines, wattleseed chocolate and raspberry mousse tart, and HOME’s signature honey cake infused with local honey and Brookies Macadamia Liqueur.
Tea, filtered coffee and all food are included in the ticket price, with local wines, native botanical cocktails and other beverages available at the bar. All produce is sourced within 50km, with styling by resident event designer Adam Powell.
Guests are also invited to explore the property with self-guided walks before or after each sitting.
