Dingo Festival

Dingo Festival Brings Four Days of Music and Art to Bangalow

A new music and arts festival is coming to the Northern Rivers, with the inaugural Dingo Festival taking over Bangalow and Byron Bay from 8–11 October 2026.

Anchored in jazz and presented through a contemporary lens, the four-day festival brings together internationally acclaimed musicians, DJs, performance artists, chefs and thinkers.

The line-up features Hiatus Kaiyote, Kokoroko, Miss Kaninna, Nai Palm, Coco Maria, Rich Medina, Steve Spacek, Andras, Harry James Angus’ Sunday Gospel and many more.

Performances, conversations, workshops and shared experiences will unfold across halls, galleries, record stores, showgrounds, hotels and public spaces, inviting festivalgoers to explore Bangalow at their own pace.

The festival opens with Kokoroko at the Great Northern Hotel on Thursday night, followed by two days at the main Bangalow festival site. Sunday features The Big Bang, a free community street party, before the closing celebration at the Beach Hotel with Hiatus Kaiyote, Miss Kaninna, Rich Medina and Mr Rhodes.
