Hope in Harmony: Concert to Support Fletcher Street Cottage

An uplifting afternoon of music, community and generosity in support of Byron’s most vulnerable.

On Sunday 1st June from 3pm, St Paul’s Anglican Church will open its doors for Hope25: Hope in an Uncertain World. A soul-stirring afternoon of classical and contemporary music performed by talented local artists, with all proceeds supporting Fletcher Street Cottage.

Part of a national movement running between Easter and Pentecost, Hope25 sees Anglican churches across Australia sharing messages of compassion and resilience. In Byron Bay the community is invited to gather, reflect and find hope through music, connection and giving.

“This is a concert that gives hope,” says Damian Farrell, Manager of Fletcher Street Cottage. “It’s an opportunity to come together and reaffirm what matters most - kindness, community and dignity for all. When people show up for events like this, it tells our service users they are seen, they are valued and they are not alone.”

Entry is via donation, with all funds going directly to Fletcher Street Cottage’s essential services, which provides meals, showers, laundry, counselling and a safe space for those experiencing or at risk of homelessness.

Whether you come for the music, the afternoon tea or simply to stand in solidarity with your community, Hope25 promises to be a heartfelt gathering for a vital local cause.
