Mullum Roots Festival brings the music back to town

Mullumbimby’s streets and intimate venues will come alive with two days of nostalgic, eclectic music when Mullum Roots Festival returns in 2027.

Following sold-out festivals in 2025 and 2026, Mullum Roots Festival will return to Mullumbimby on 10 and 11 July 2027 with a new venue, additional seating and another vibrant program of live music.

Rather than taking place at a single festival site, performances will unfold across venues throughout Mullumbimby village, allowing audiences to wander between intimate rooms and experience established and emerging artists up close.

The festival combines the spirit of an old-school musical pub crawl with the relaxed character of Mullumbimby, creating a weekend of discovery, community and live performance.

Camping and shuttle services between selected venues and accommodation areas will be available.
