Bluesfest may be cancelled, but the music hasn’t stopped across the Byron Shire this Easter weekend as local venues host a huge lineup of artists.

Two new therapeutic group programs starting this April and May will offer Northern Rivers women a safe, supportive environment to heal from trauma, build confidence and reconnect with a sense of safety and self-worth.

It means a lot to be recognised, but the real reward is seeing people connect with each other, stay active and have fun.

This body of work reflects a sense of standing at the edge. If we don’t address this imbalance now our planets future generations will suffer from our indifference.

Designed as a safe, women-only and confidential environment, the weekly drop-in clinic runs every Tuesday from 1pm to 3pm.
